this project is about remotely monitoring the status of the patients in different hospital rooms which helps the doctors and the nurses to monitor the patient continously from a remote place and attend the patient immediately incase of emergency.in this unit sensors are given as input which is fed to the PIC 16f877a microcontroller which is interfaced to the CAN controller(MCP2515) through the SPI ports in the microcontroller.from the CAN controller the message is transmitted to the CAN transciver which feeds t the CAN bus. this forms the node 1 of the circuit kept in patient room1. similar setup is kept on all patient rooms connected to CAN bus .A centalized monitoring system is also connected to this CAN bus which is the PC interfaced node which helps the doctors and nurses to view the current status of the patient and attend the patient in case of emergency.
