sir i would like to do my 8th semester project based on home automation using x10. i would like to have your guidance throught this project so that i can complete my academic project.

  

x10 is a communication language that allows the controll of the home gadgets using the existing electrical wiring in home.for that we need to install such devices that can transmite x10 signals for controll side and x10 reception enabled devices at the reciever side.need only to plug in these gadgets to any socket in home to perfom. another idea is you can use a key board to controll the home appliances.assign an address to each of these one .and by using a key bord you can controll up to 256 devices . before doing this project you make sure that the gadjets that generate noise onto the power line such as motors are plug in through an effective noise filter Rex
