it is circuit which can detect the voltages form 0 to 5v. ATMEL microcontroller is used where the paricular voltages are stored in chip by programming.we can use this circuit to drive different device.for example if you want to drivethe motors depending on voltages. it can be used tio control the air conditioner, by giving the temperature sensor (but we have to add some circuitary to amplify the sensor voltage and ADC to convert it to digital signal).
