I am interested in making an application for the deaf wherein the voice message at the caller end will be transmitted in the form of data packets such that they appear in the form of text messages at the reciever's end. As the reciever is a deaf person, he would use an instrument which has a LED that glows when he recieves a voice message.(instead of a ringtone). His reply to the same would be in the form of a text message which would be converted to voice at the other end. Please suggest a practical way to implement this (or something similar)as a final year project(BE)

The project in which u r interested is a part of a big project VOICE RECOGNIZATION the voice recognized system takes input in the form of voice then convert the voice signal into digital signal.You can do this by several ways using ADC or Schimitt Trigger or else.But after digitallizing your input voice you want the text of voice which is a bit complecated.Here you have to work how to do this.Because in VRS u use to give u&#;r input to the microcontroller to process further.But here you have to convert it into a text.You can do this by serial or parallel data transmission you have to transmit the digitallized data to the receiver.Now that data will be converted into text by using ASCI code.After receiving the fast ASCI convert it into text than the next and so u can get the whole message....regards m my side
